Professor Kim Jong-yeon is a gastroenterologist at Myongji Hospital. He treats diseases of the esophagus, stomach, colon, and liver, including cirrhosis and hepatitis. He performs therapeutic endoscopy, such as endoscopic polypectomy. He also serves as Deputy Director of the International Healthcare Center.
He is a member of the Liver Failure Center. He works with teams in hepatology, liver cancer, and transplantation to provide coordinated care for advanced liver disease and for transplant candidates.

Professor Park Jung-won is a leading Korean specialist in hepatocellular carcinoma with over 30 years of experience. He is the Director of the Liver and Liver Cancer Center and the Integrated Cancer Care Center at Myongji Hospital. He led Korea’s first HCC guidelines in 2003. He has also overseen their updates for about 20 years. His team validated proton beam radiotherapy for liver cancer, as published in the Journal of Hepatology. He has authored more than 200 SCI-indexed papers. He also helped lead global trials, including the 2025 CheckMate 9DW study, which showed improved outcomes with nivolumab plus ipilimumab for unresectable HCC.

金基奉（Kim Ki-bong）教授專門從事冠狀動脈繞道手術（CABG）、瓣膜手術、心房顫動治療及心臟移植手術。他目前擔任明知醫院（Myongji Hospital）心臟外科及心血管中心主任。他曾開創韓國先進的冠狀動脈繞道手術技術，在非體外循環冠狀動脈繞道手術（OPCAB）方面擁有豐富經驗，並作為達文西Xi機器人手術團隊成員進行全內視鏡冠狀動脈繞道手術（TECAB）。
2025年，其團隊完成了韓國首例無需體外循環的全內視鏡冠狀動脈繞道手術。2026年8月，該團隊達成韓國首例多血管TECAB手術。
他曾任首爾大學醫學院胸腔及心血管外科學系主任，亦曾任首爾大學醫院同部門主任。目前擔任《胸腔外科年鑑》（The Annals of Thoracic Surgery）編委，同時是美國胸腔外科學會（AATS）、胸腔外科醫師學會（STS）及歐洲心胸外科學會（EACTS）成員。他曾擔任韓國冠狀動脈外科學會、心律不整外科治療學會及胸腔及心血管外科學會會長。在研究方面，他發表了130多篇國際論文及140多篇韓國國內論文，並進行過80多場國際演講及80多場國內演講。他於首爾大學取得醫學士、碩士及博士學位。
