Born in 1973 in Ankara, Dr. Emel Torun completed high school at TED Ankara College and entered Istanbul University Faculty of Medicinein 1992 . In 1998, she started her residency in Pediatrics at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and became a specialist in Pediatrics in 2003. After about 10 years of private hospital experience, he started to work as a Specialist Lecturer and then as an Assistant Professor in Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics in 2010. Assoc. Dr. and in 2015, he passed the Associate Professorship exam and received the title of Assoc. He received the title of Associate Professor. In 2020, he worked as Prof. Dr. at the same university. He is currently working as Prof. Dr. at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics.
