Dr. Mehmet Altug Tuncer is a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–present). He became Professor in 2018 at Istanbul Okan University. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2013. He earned his MD at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa. He completed cardiovascular surgery training at Koşuyolu. His work includes 38 SCI/SCI-E papers, 19 national articles, and one book.
He is Chairman of the Aortic Surgery Working Group of the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association. He also belongs to the Society of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiovascular Surgery. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
