It was the right choice

何よりも、先が見えないことや、今後の治療計画がどうなるかについて不安を感じていました。しかし、最初の診察ですぐにその不安は解消されました。医師はとても丁寧で、すべてを詳しく、かつ穏やかに説明してくださり、すぐに安心感を得ることができました。このような対応には大変感謝しています。クリニックのスタッフ全員が親切で、どの段階でも支えてくれました。クリニック自体も好印象で、すべてがきちんと整えられていました。現在は回復期にあり、今後の手順を明確に理解できたことで、以前よりずっと安心しています。ここを選んで正解でした。

the support from the surgeon and the whole team was incredible

手術前に私が最も恐れていたのは、新しい生活、特に食事への適応でした。しかし、外科医やスタッフ全員からのサポートは本当に大きかったです。手術は腹腔鏡下で行われ、胃の大部分――約75～80％――が切除されました。もちろん、回復には時間がかかります。今は一度にスプーン2～3杯しか食べられず、食べ物が詰まってしまうのが最大の難点なので、食べ方を変えるのに慣れる必要があります。それでも、私のエネルギーレベルはすでに少し良くなってきました。私は最も重要なことに気づきました。それは、これまでの食習慣を捨てることです！これは新しい体での新しい人生であり、そこではあなたは単なる食料の消費者がではなく、食の愛好家となるのです。
