My experience at Acibadem Maslak Hospital in Istanbul was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment I arrived, I was genuinely impressed. The hospital itself is immaculate, modern, and incredibly well equipped. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and honestly more comfortable and luxurious than the five-star hotel I stayed in before my surgery. It made recovering so much easier.
What truly made my stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Every single person I encountered was kind, professional, and compassionate, always treating me with dignity and genuine care.
I would especially love to thank the incredible night staff who looked after me during my first two nights. Unfortunately, I don’t remember your names, but I will never forget your kindness. There was a wonderful young male nurse who was so reassuring and attentive, a lovely young female nurse with the most spectacular eyelashes who always made me feel calm and cared for, and another beautiful lady who patiently helped me on my recovery walks, encouraging me every step of the way. During a time when I felt vulnerable and far from home, your warmth and compassion meant more than you could possibly know.
Travelling overseas for surgery can feel daunting, but the care I received at Acibadem Maslak Hospital gave me complete confidence that I was in the best hands. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience into one that I will always remember with gratitude.
