Starting from the airport the communication is very timely and consice. They message you right as you are about to land and give you the proper instructions and all is taken care of. I also liked the hotel because they were also very helpfull and acommodating.
The only thing i did not like was that i was inititally quoted on the price stating that the grafts from my head would be enough after providing multiple photographs. But arriving at the clinic during the consult it was mentioned that it wouldnt be enough and require additional donor area for 450$. And i get it, things like this happen and its no ones fault really but this did come as a surprise because not much had changed between the time the photos had been sent and the operation date. Just make sure you carry enough extra cash because this is could occur. (I paid around 25% more than initially quoted)
The facility is absolutely beautiful, modern and clean and it just makes you feel very comfortable and safe.
The operation itself was very profesionally done, the personell that did the extraction and implantations seemed young but very skilled nonetheless. Though they did not speak english, they did their best and we managed to communicate our way through it. Would be good if they got some basic english classes.
I did the special sedation for the extra cost and it did help for the 10 hours i was there. I was also provided a meal because i had skipped breakfast. The after care instructions and washing were also very clear and they made sure i arrived to my destination safely.
All in all a good experience and i would recommend it.

I am very satisfied with the service I received from Istanbul Care. From the very beginning until the end, the team was professional, caring, and well-organized.
The person who assisted me was very patient, explained everything clearly, and was always available to answer my questions.
The whole process was smooth and hygienic, and I felt comfortable and confident throughout. So far, the early results look very promising, and I’m looking forward to great final results.
I highly recommend Istanbul Care to anyone considering a hair transplant. Thank you again 🙏

From the time I first started communicating with Matilda, she was very helpful with answering all my questions and concerns. She was even helpful with places to visit and eat while in Istanbul. On the day of and the day after the procedure, Claire was very instrumental in translating and the communication between the doctor and staff. The doctor and staff were very professional and caring. Erida is also very professional. She continues to take the time and address all my questions and helps with all my post op concerns. Thank you all for this incredible journey thus far.

My experience as a whole was positive.
My case manager who arranged everything was diligent and thorough. I would advise to have reserve cash as there may be unexpected costs that you didn't budget for (for example, extractions from beard and chest). The following day my after care was efficient and I had a great chat with someone on how best to take care for the next 2 weeks. Thank you Istanbul Care.

Before we even flew out, the administration was incredibly daunting. The team kept telling us we would receive our hotel details a week before flying, but we had to continuously demand the paperwork so we could actually organise our trip abroad for a medical procedure. When they finally sent the voucher, we discovered they had secretly changed our hotel and booked the wrong month entirely. When I took matters into my own hands and contacted the original hotel directly to check our reservation, the coordinator became highly hostile toward us.
It got significantly worse at the clinic. On arrival, they completely barred me from entering the initial consultation room with my husband. They intentionally isolated him, prepped him for surgery, and then hit him with an ultimatum: pay an extra €400 on the spot for a DHI upgrade or the doctor would refuse to perform the procedure. Months prior during his online video consultation, they told him he was the perfect candidate for FUE. Now, they claimed he had "too much hair" for it. My husband had to physically demand to see me before handing over the money under complete medical duress.
Paradoxically, while he was actively sedated on the operating table, they claimed the exact opposite—telling him he didn't have enough hair. They continually hounded him for more cash while he was vulnerable, demanding €300 for beard grafts and another €300 for leg/chest grafts. The sudden shift from "too much hair" to "not enough hair" on the table proved this was purely a financial scam. Throughout his surgery, a rotating door of different doctors kept swapping in and out. They barely spoke to him and made no effort to make him feel comfortable.
The lack of care was highly concerning. The night after his surgery, his head was bleeding enough to cause genuine concern. We contacted their emergency team for guidance and were completely ignored with zero response. To add insult to injury, Istanbul Hair Care never warned us that patients would be charged by their partner hotel for blood stains on the white bed sheets—something they absolutely should warn UK patients about so they can bring their own pillow covers.
The next morning, when we returned to have his bandages removed, they tried to pressure us into buying a €250 "upgraded hair care package," claiming it was highly recommended to ensure the procedure worked well, despite a basic package already being included in our original price.
Istanbul Hair Care operates like an aggressive sales conveyor belt, not a professional medical facility. They isolate patients and exploit them for cash when they are at their most vulnerable. Avoid them at all costs.
