Unilaser Clinic is a private multi-specialty dental facility in Medellín, Colombia. It operates three specialized departments within its medical office in the El Poblado district. The center focuses on digital precision for smile makeovers, dental implants, and oral rehabilitation.

Dental Specialties and Procedures

The medical team specializes in cosmetic dentistry and full restorative care. Specialists use digital workflows to achieve natural-looking outcomes with small-incision techniques.

• Smile Design and Aesthetics: Dr. Juan Fidel Díez leads this department. He was the first dentist in Medellín to graduate in Cosmetic Dentistry from New York University. Procedures include professional whitening, space closure, and Hollywood Smile transformations.
• Dental Implants: The clinic offers titanium and zirconia implants with a lifetime warranty. The process includes assessment, surgical placement, and restoration with crowns or fixed prostheses.
• Oral Rehabilitation: This department handles complex restorations for missing or damaged teeth. Dr. Jorge Moreno and Dr. Juan Fidel Díez perform these procedures. They use Maryland bridges made from metal-free zirconia as a conservative alternative to full crowns.
• Invisible Orthodontics: Dr. Juan David Díaz provides Invisalign and clear aligners. These systems treat crowded, crooked, or gapped teeth. The team uses digital planning to track tooth movements.
• Endodontics: Dr. Juan David Urrea focuses on root canal treatments. He has nearly 20 years of experience in this specialty.

Specialists at Unilaser Clinic have over 30 years of combined experience in advanced dentistry.

Technology and Diagnostics

Unilaser Clinic uses precision systems to eliminate physical molds and improve accuracy. These tools support the planning of every surgical and restorative case.

• 3D Intraoral Scanning: Digital scanners create exact records of the oral cavity. This eliminates uncomfortable traditional molds.
• Robotic Dentistry: The clinic uses robotic systems for exact fabrication of dental restorations.
• Digital Smile Design (DSD): Specialists use computer-aided design to plan smile makeovers. Patients can preview their results digitally before treatment starts.
• Dental Microscopes: Surgeons use high-magnification microscopes for precise tooth preparation while sparing healthy tissue.
• DIAGNOcam: This diagnostic tool detects cavities without X-ray radiation.

Diagnostic imaging also includes Cone Beam CT scans and panoramic X-rays for bone assessment.

Patient Statistics and Geography

The clinic is a popular choice for dental tourism in South America. Most international patients travel from the United States and Canada. Many also come from Puerto Rico, Panama, and Costa Rica. A significant number arrive from Caribbean islands for major oral rehabilitations.

Services for International Patients

Unilaser Clinic provides dedicated logistical support for travelers. The team schedules treatments to fit limited travel windows. Specialists offer online dental diagnosis and virtual consultations before patients leave home.

During a virtual assessment, the team reviews recent X-rays and photographs. This helps determine necessary tests and treatment steps in advance. After surgery, the clinic provides follow-up care through virtual communication to monitor long-term results.
