Johannes Drach

Professor Drach is the specialist in the field of oncology, he is engaged in a health examination, namely, he gives conclusions about the need for surgery and assesses the risk of a special operation and optimizes therapy before surgery. Advises on the detection of cancer in a patient, gives a second opinion and advice on nutrition and lifestyle in cancer. Professor of Vienna Medical University, has his own private practice. 

Education and professional qualifications: 

From 1991 - 1993: Research Internship at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, USA.

January 1997: Specialist therapist (training in internal medicine at the Medical University Hospital of Innsbruck and Vienna, AKH is Europe's largest public hospital) 

October 1997: Doctoral dissertation at the Medical University of Vienna on the topic "New data on chromosomal changes in monoclonal gammopathies" D

ecember 1998: Study of Additive Hematologic Oncology 

January 2001 - September 2012: Head physician at the University Hospital of Internal Medicine I in Vienna, Clinical Department of Oncology, while on November 15, 2001 he was the director of the Multiple Myeloma and Malignant Lymphoma program, and on March 19, 2008 he was the Deputy Head Department (Deputy University Professor, Dr. Zelinsky) 

From October 2012: Director of the Josefstadt Private Clinic in Vienna 

2014: Continuing education in nutrition and cancer - continuing education course at the University of Freiburg 

November 2006 - present: Member of the Board of Directors of the Austrian Society of Hematology and Oncology (ÖGHO). Publication of more than 120 scientific papers and more than 200 theses for lectures / presentations at national and international congresses.
