Dr. Kerem Ozel is a Professor of Pediatric Surgery. He specializes in fetal surgery and pediatric urology. He earned his MD from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa (English Division). He completed his pediatric surgery residency at Marmara University.

He holds the European Board of Pediatric Surgery and the European Board of Pediatric Urology certificates. He received a Fetal Surgery Certificate in 2013 through collaboration with Justus-Liebig University Giessen and the German Fetal Surgery Center. His training includes pediatric urology and spina bifida at Ege University in 2005. He also conducted robotic pediatric urology research at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2014.

In 2015, he joined Turkey’s first fetal surgery team and performed in-utero procedures at Istanbul Bilim University. He led the Pediatric Surgery Department at Istanbul Bilim University in 2010. He has been on the faculty at Istanbul Medeniyet University since 2017.
