Our rhinoplasty procedure is designed to enhance both the appearance and function of the nose through a precise and individualized surgical approach. Depending on the patient’s needs, the surgery is performed using either an open or closed technique, allowing for reshaping of the nasal bones, cartilage, and soft tissues. This may include reducing or refining the nasal bridge, correcting asymmetry or curvature, improving the nasal tip, and addressing breathing issues if present. The procedure is carried out under general anesthesia and typically takes 2–3 hours.
We focus on achieving natural, balanced results that harmonize with the patient’s facial features while maintaining or improving nasal function. Advanced surgical techniques help minimize trauma and swelling, supporting a smoother recovery process. Patients can usually return to daily activities within 7–10 days after splint removal, while most swelling subsides within a few weeks, with final results gradually appearing over several months. The outcome is a refined, natural-looking nose that enhances overall facial balance and confidence.

Dr. Emre Gunbey is an Assistant Professor of ENT. He specializes in nose aesthetics, endoscopic sinus surgery, snoring and sleep apnea, and head and neck tumor surgery. He graduated from Ege University School of Medicine in 2003. He completed his ENT residency at Kecioren Training and Research Hospital in 2011.
Dr. Gunbey has worked at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital and Adatip Istanbul Hospital. He also gained international experience as an observer at Mayo Clinic in the USA. He is a member of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, the European Rhinology Association, and the Facial Plastic Surgery Association.
