Centro Médico Teknon offers a surgical treatment package for laparoscopic subtotal hysterectomy under the care of Dr. Jordi Antoni Vives, specialist in gynecology and gynecologic surgery at Teknogin, Centro Médico Teknon.
This treatment is indicated for patients with uterine pathology such as large fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine enlargement, pelvic symptoms or other gynecological conditions where subtotal hysterectomy is medically recommended.

Dr. Jordi Antoni Vives is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics at Teknogin (Centro Médico Teknon, Barcelona). He focuses on gynecologic oncology surgery, complex uterine and pelvic pathology, and tumor board coordination. He has led Obstetrics at Hospital CIMA since 2015. He has been a consultant physician at Parc Taulí since 1990.
Education/accreditations: Degree in Medicine and Surgery, University of Barcelona (1983). MIR residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics (1990). European University Diploma in Operative Endoscopy in Gynecology, advanced level (2000). Da Vinci robotic surgery accreditation (2010). Training stays at Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale (1994 and 1999).
Leadership/memberships/awards: Coordinator and president of the Functional Unit of Gynecologic Oncology and the Tumor Committee at Parc Taulí. Member of the Spanish, Catalan, and European Societies of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and of the GEICO Cervical Cancer Committee.
