For end-stage osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or femoral head necrosis, the Joint Surgery Department offers high-precision artificial joint replacement solutions. The surgery aims to thoroughly remove damaged cartilage and osteophytes within the joint, correct lower limb alignment deformities, and implant artificial joint prostheses, thereby effectively eliminating intractable joint pain and restoring smooth joint movement and walking function. Based on advanced classification theories of osteoarticular diseases, the department tailors surgical plans for patients of different ages and bone qualities, including bone-conserving minimally invasive unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) or classic cemented/cementless total joint arthroplasty (TKA/THA). Following the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) concept, patients can achieve early weight-bearing and mobilization under pain-free conditions.
What surgical procedures are included? Unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA), unilateral total hip arthroplasty (THA), minimally invasive unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA).
What diagnostic procedures are included? Weight-bearing and non-weight-bearing X-rays of bilateral hips/knees, hip/knee MRI (to assess cartilage wear and meniscal status), full-length lower limb weight-bearing X-ray (for preoperative alignment measurement).
Are there any implants? Yes. Includes artificial joint prosthesis components (typically consisting of highly cross-linked polyethylene wear liners, metal or ceramic femoral heads/tibial trays, and fixation materials such as bone cement or cementless coated titanium alloy tibial stems/acetabular cups).

Wan Daqian医師（MD、PhD）は、上海同済病院の整形外科（関節外科）の准主任医師であり、修士課程の指導教員です。関節外科とスポーツ医学を専門としています。肩関節および膝関節の関節鏡手術、ならびに股関節および膝関節の人工関節置換術を行っています。骨関節の骨欠損疾患に対する幹細胞治療をいち早く導入した医師の一人です。彼の執刀数は地域でもトップクラスです。
