Package Overview
Surgical treatment for a herniated cervical disc or cervical spine degeneration compressing the nerves or spinal cord at one level. Through a small incision at the front of the neck, the affected disc is removed, a disc replacement implant is inserted, and the spine is secured with a cervical locking plate for stability. The procedure helps relieve neck pain, pain radiating down the arm, numbness, or weakness. Most patients are able to walk the day after surgery.
