CO₂ laser resurfacing at Altos Clinic in Prague is used to correct post-acne scars, certain other types of scars, wrinkles, and uneven skin texture. The procedure is performed using a CO₂ laser from the Italian manufacturer DEKA. Controlled laser action induces tissue renewal and stimulates collagen remodeling, helping to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles. Treatment of the periorbital area can be performed, depending on the indication, to correct fine wrinkles and sagging skin around the eyes. Before the procedure, the doctor assesses the skin type and condition, the nature of the changes, the patient's medical history, and any contraindications. The area, mode, and intensity of treatment are individually tailored; the expected degree of improvement and the need for repeat sessions are discussed in advance.
