Robotic nephrectomy is a safe and effective approach to kidney cancer with advantages in perioperative recovery and surgical precision. Depending on tumor type and stage it can be partial (removing only the tumor with minimal margins – preferred for smaller tumors, usually under 4 cm and up to 7 cm, to preserve kidney function) or radical (removing the entire kidney for larger, more invasive tumors). Both are performed through small incisions using the da Vinci system's 3D visualization, which means less postoperative pain, a lower infection risk, faster recovery and small, aesthetic scars.
The procedure is performed by an experienced urology specialist – a certified robotic surgeon in urology – in a large private multi-specialty hospital in Warsaw, Poland – LUX MED St. Elizabeth's Hospital, which, along with the entire LUX MED Group, is part of the international Bupa group, a leading healthcare provider and insurer worldwide.
LUX MED St. Elizabeth's Hospital is the LUX MED Group's Robotic Surgery Center, providing robotic surgery for prostate cancer, endometrial cancer, colon cancer, kidney cancer, hernias and endometriosis.

Artur A. Antoniewicz博士（MD, PhD）は、20年以上の経験を持つ泌尿器科医です。ワルシャワのミェンズィレスキ専門病院の泌尿器科部長を7年間務め、同病院には20年以上勤務しています。2018年からは、前立腺がん治療センターにてロボット支援手術を行っています。
ワルシャワ医科大学医学部を卒業。泌尿器科および一般外科の専門医（1992年取得）。ワルシャワ第1国立臨床病院、ワルシャワ医科大学泌尿器科、ワルシャワ鉄道病院での勤務経験があります。ドイツ、フランス、スロベニア、イタリアでフェローシップおよび研修を修了しました。
1999年にFEBU（欧州泌尿器科専門医）認定を取得。2000年よりポーランド泌尿器科学会の科学委員会委員を務めています。ポーランド泌尿器科学会、欧州泌尿器科委員会（EBU）、欧州泌尿器科学会（EAU）、および国際泌尿器科学会（Société Internationale d’Urologie）の正会員です。
