Dr. Ming Shao is a Professor, Chief Physician of Neurological Rehabilitation, Postdoctoral Fellow in Neurosurgery, and Doctoral Supervisor. He has over 35 years of experience. He specializes in movement disorders and provides medical and surgical care, including deep brain stimulation, for Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. He also focuses on neurorehabilitation and uses noninvasive neuromodulation for stroke, spinal cord injury, and disorders of consciousness.

Dr. Shao specializes in epilepsy treatment for both children and adults. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University and Dartmouth College. Dr. Shao serves as the Asian representative for the International Society for Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring.
