Dr. Sean Hu is a leader in biotechnology and stem cell therapy. He earned a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. He is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd. He also serves as director of the Shenzhen Beike Cell Engineering Institute.
He was among the first experts recognized by China’s Thousand Talents Program. At Beike, he leads the development and commercialization of adult stem cell therapies. His work focuses on conditions of the brain and spinal cord, and on neurodegenerative and autoimmune disorders. His goal is to make high-quality care more accessible.
