Dr. med. Kadir Kocadag is a German board-certified ophthalmologist. He trained at the University of Duisburg-Essen and the University Eye Hospital Essen under Prof. Bornfeld and Prof. Steuhl. He held a senior clinical role focused on macular and retinal disease and ocular tumors. He is experienced in refractive surgery and ophthalmic laser treatments.
He served as a consultant at Elisabeth Hospital Essen. Since 2015 he has practiced in Solingen and Cologne and also consults at Städtisches Klinikum Solingen. His doctoral work studied episcleral venous pressure in endocrine orbitopathy. He presents at major German ophthalmology meetings and is a member of AAO, ESCRS, DOG, ARVO, and OOG.
