She later served as a clinical professor at Yongin Severance Hospital.

Dr. Kang is a member of Korean societies in obesity, aesthetics, anti-aging, laser dermatology, and lifting medicine. She is a prospective board member of the Korean Academy of Obesity & Aesthetic Treatment (KOAT). She has held leadership roles at leading aesthetic clinics.
