Dr. Bulent Unal is a distinguished oncologist and general surgeon specializing in organ transplant and treating an array of cancers. He has over 25 years of professional experience and has earned multiple awards for his work in the field. He is proficient in surgeries like kidney and liver transplant, resection of urinary bladder tumor, removal of ovarian cancer, gall bladder tumor removal, and mastectomy surgery.

Dr. Bülent Ünal is a general surgeon and surgical oncologist. He is Head of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Çukurova University in 1996. He completed his general surgery residency at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2001. He finished a minor specialization in surgical oncology at İnönü University in 2012.

In 2008, he was an NCI Short-Term Scientist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 10 months. He trained in sentinel node techniques and ductoscopy. Prof. Abuzer Dirican is a Professor of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology and Head of Department at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. He completed his general surgery training at SSK Ankara in 2000. He served at İnönü University’s Liver Transplant Institute and became a professor in 2017. He also completed a clinical and research fellowship in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.

He authored the Liver Transplantation chapter in Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery in 2016. His publications cover cholangiocarcinoma, liver transplantation, endocrine surgery, and colorectal surgery. Notable work includes a prospective randomized trial on pilonidal disease and studies on breast cancer–related lymphedema. He also co-authored analyses of 304 living-donor liver transplants and 109 hepatic vein reconstructions.
