Dr. Yuri Goldes is a general surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He specializes in upper gastrointestinal and oncologic surgery. He is Deputy Director of the Department of General Surgery and Transplantation at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv. He also leads the Upper GI Surgery Unit. He was named to Forbes Israel’s Best Doctors in 2025. He is ranked among Israel’s Best Gastrointestinal Surgeons by Forbes. Professor Raanan Berger, MD PhD, is a medical oncologist and radiotherapist. He is Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center and heads its clinical research unit. He was listed in Forbes Israel’s “Best Doctors” (2025). He leads the genitourinary oncology program with a focus on prostate cancer. His care includes systemic therapy and radiotherapy in a multidisciplinary, patient-centered model.

He is board-certified in oncology. He earned his MD and PhD at Tel Aviv University and completed his clinical training at Sheba. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Dana-Farber/Harvard, focusing on prostate cancer with Dr. Philip Kantoff and molecular oncology in Dr. William C. Hahn’s lab. He is a member of ESMO and ASCO. He has co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed papers, including studies on outcomes in high- versus very high-risk prostate cancer and on BRCA1/2 in large cohorts.

Dr. Boaz Liberman, MD, is an orthopedic oncologist and sarcoma surgeon for adults and children. He directs the Orthopedic Oncology Unit and serves as Vice Head of Orthopedic Surgery at Sheba Medical Center. His focus is limb-sparing cancer surgery with functional reconstruction. He performs complex joint reconstruction, revision arthroplasty, MRgFUS, and reconstruction after bone metastases.

Fellowships in Adult Reconstruction at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, and in Orthopedic Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. His research covers bone and soft tissue sarcomas, serum markers, imaging-guided therapies, MRI arthrography, and the biomechanics of bone treated with MRgFUS.

Dr. Iris Kventsel, MD, is a pediatric hemato-oncologist and bone marrow transplant (BMT) specialist at Sheba Medical Center. She is an attending physician in the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology and BMT Division at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital. Her clinical focus is pediatric sarcomas, including Ewing sarcoma, osteosarcoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma.

She provides multidisciplinary care, including transplant and cellular therapies. She also uses current chemotherapy protocols and targeted therapies for complex childhood cancers.

Her research focuses on genetic cancer predisposition, including Li-Fraumeni syndrome, and cancer susceptibility genes. She has published in pediatric oncology, stem cell biology, and surgical oncology (HIPEC). She is on the academic staff at Tel Aviv University.
