Prof. Dr. Ali Ferruh Akay is a board-certified urologist with more than 30 years of medical experience. He has specialized in urology for over 25 years. He currently serves as Professor of Urology at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Akay earned his medical degree from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his urology residency at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine. In 2005, he received advanced training in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Rochester in the USA.

He is a Professor of Urology and Andrology. He completed a clinical fellowship in andrology at Tulane University School of Medicine. He also holds a PhD in Embryology and Histology.

Dr Erdem Gelegen is an ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in cataract, refractive, retinal, glaucoma, and corneal/anterior segment care. Being a urology specialist for more than 15 years, today Dr. Ilkay Kirkac is the Head of the Urology Department at the Private Optimed Hospital. He was the first to conduct the Closed Kidney Stone Surgery in the clinic.

Prof. Dr. Fatih Kurtuluş is a leading urologist and a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU). He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He specializes in endourology and urooncology. He received advanced training at IRCAD Strasbourg and gained international experience at Heidelberg University and Milan San Raffaele IRCCS Hospital.

He became a professor in 2018. He has received several awards, including the 2015 Urooncology Research Award. He also won best oral presentation at the AUA Congress in 2008 and the EAU Congress in 2009. Dr. Kurtuluş has published widely in international journals. He is an active member of the EAU, Endourological Society, Turkish Association of Urology, and Urooncology Association.
