Assoc. Prof. Atakan Topçu, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Medipol University and Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital. He treats solid tumors, including lung, breast, colorectal, gastric, and neuroendocrine cancers. His work also covers targeted therapies, immunotherapy, geriatric oncology, and cancer-related malnutrition, cachexia, and sarcopenia.

He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Recent work includes a 2024 Frontiers in Medicine study on geriatric syndromes and a 2023 Future Oncology paper on sarcopenia and anxiety in lung cancer. He has also published on the CONUT score in breast cancer and on malnutrition in HER2-negative metastatic gastric cancer.

Dr. Topçu serves on the Editorial Board of BMC Cancer. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, ESMO, and the Turkish Geriatrics Society. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Salih İyikesici is a medical oncologist. He provides personalized care for breast, lung, and gastrointestinal cancers. He combines metabolically supported therapies with chemotherapy. His interests include the ketogenic diet in cancer care, hyperthermia, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

He has conducted and contributed to national and international scientific studies. Selected national peer-reviewed publications include Metabolic Supported Chemotherapy in Rectal Cancer (2020), NSCLC Patient Outcomes – Marmara University (2004), and Early-Stage Breast Cancer Outcomes (2004).

Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at İstinye University, Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–present). He previously served as Associate Professor and Education Coordinator at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital (2023–2025). He was also a Medical Oncologist there (2018–2021).

He has been a member of ASCO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology since 2018. He is the author or co-author of 19 peer-reviewed international papers on colon, breast, gastric, pancreatic, lung, thyroid, sarcoma, and colorectal cancers.

Notable works include a multicentre study on stage IIB colon cancer survival (Journal of Chemotherapy). He also studied the De Ritis ratio for lung metastasis in testicular cancer (Current Urology). His prognostic studies used PET/CT, MSI, lymph node ratio, and metabolic tumor volume.

Assoc. Prof. Ayşe İrem Yasin, M.D., is a medical oncologist who specializes in solid tumors. Her clinical focus includes breast, lung, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and urologic cancers. She also treats brain and other CNS tumors, soft tissue sarcomas, head and neck cancers, adenocarcinomas, melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, and cancers of unknown primary. She completed a Medical Oncology fellowship at Bezmialem Vakıf University (2019–2022). This followed an Internal Medicine residency at the same institution (2012–2016). Her international experience includes the Breast Cancer Unit at the University of Piemonte Orientale in Novara (2022). She also trained at Basel University Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, and Harvard Medical School. She holds the ESMO Board Certificate (2022).

Dr. Murat Ayhan is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology since 2023. He is an expert in breast, lung, colorectal, gynecological, and urogenital cancers. He focuses on modern cancer treatments such as immunotherapy, smart drugs, targeted therapies, and molecular oncology. Dr. Ayhan provides personalized care based on the latest scientific research.

He is the principal investigator in several global Phase II and III oncology trials. These include studies on GDC-9545, Palbociclib, Atezolizumab, and Apalutamide. Dr. Ayhan has published over 25 articles in international journals. His research covers COVID-19’s effects on cancer patients, drug desensitization, and real-world treatment results.

He is an active member of ESMO and TTOD. Dr. Ayhan has also contributed to oncology reference books on tyrosine kinase inhibitors and oncological emergencies. His work helps advance cancer care for future generations.

Dr. Hilmi Apak is a respected pediatric hematology-oncology specialist with more than 21 years of experience. He is trained in pediatric oncology. Dr. Apak has led advanced treatments, including bone marrow transplantation, leukemia chemotherapy, and CAR T-cell therapy.

He has published 75 international medical articles, showing his strong contribution to pediatric oncology research. Dr. Apak has worked as assistant editor for the Turkish Pediatrics Archives Periodical. He has also held important academic and leadership positions, such as Head of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa.

Prof. Dr. Rafet Eren graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2007. He completed his Internal Medicine specialty training at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2012. In 2018, he became a Hematology subspecialist at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital. In 2019, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Hematology. Afterwards, he worked as a faculty member at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital and Istinye University (Istinye University Bahçeşehir and Liv Hospital Vadistanbul) and is currently working at Biruni University Hospital. Dr. Rafet Eren is a member of Turkish Society of Hematology, Hematology Specialty Society and European Society of Hematology and speaks English fluently. He has around 50 publications in national and international refereed journals.

Dr. Itir Sirinoglu Temiz is a Professor of Hematology. She specializes in lymphoma, acute and chronic leukemias, multiple myeloma, thrombocytopenias, thrombosis, anemia, and bone marrow failure. She graduated with honors from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. She completed her hematology training at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtarslan Oncology Education and Research Hospital.

Dr. Sirinoglu Temiz has held key academic and administrative positions. She served as Head of Internal Medicine at IAU Faculty of Medicine. She was also Education and Administrative Manager at SBÜ Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk EAH Hematology Clinic. She has broad experience in adult hematology, stem cell transplantation, and therapeutic apheresis. She currently practices at Liv Hospital.

Associate Professor Dr. Emrah Eraslan graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Prof. Dr. Osman İLHAN graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. After completing his internal medicine residency at the same faculty in 1982, he served as a senior resident at the GATA Hematology Clinic during his military service. After completing his mandatory service at SSK Ulus Hospital, he returned to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for a subspecialty. In 1990, he became an associate professor of hematology. He worked in Genoa, Italy to increase his knowledge and experience in leukemia. He was part of the team that performed the first bone marrow stem cell transplant in Turkey. In 1996, he went to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA to work on "Stem Cell Mobilization, Cryopreservation, and Transplantation." In 1996, he became a professor of hematology. In 1999, he was elected as the regional president of ESFH (European Society for Hemapheresis). Dr. İlhan, who was the founder and president of the Hemapheresis Society in 2000, joined the World Apheresis Association (WAA) in 2001. He became the President of the Turkish Hematology Association in October 2001. Dr. İlhan, who is an active member of the European Hematology Association (EHA), was a member of the accreditation committee (ECAH) for education. He played a role in the accreditation of Turkish hematologists in CME credits by participating in the accreditation of congresses and courses held in Turkey as a Provider Status. He served as the founding president of the Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association established in 2008. He became the founding president of the Geriatric Hematology Association in 2011. He is the Honorary President of the World Apheresis Congress (WAA) held in 2012. Dr. İlhan, who previously served on drug licensing and ethics committees at the Ministry of Health, has also served as the Chairman of the Photopheresis-Apheresis Commission and the Scientific Committee for Bone Marrow Transplantation, as well as the Chairman of the National Organ Tissue Cell Coordination Board, the Scientific Board of Cord Blood, and the Stem Cell Research Board. He is the founding president of the STEM CELL FOUNDATION and has played an important role in the establishment of TURKOK (Turkish Stem Cell Donor Bank). Dr. İlhan has over 300 publications in journals registered in PubMed and more than 5000 citations. He holds the Platinum CME certificate from the European Hematology Association. He owns four brands/patents named “Kökten Çözüm (Deep Solution), Telehematoloji (Telehematology), Hemaferez (Hemapheresis), Kanser Kök Hücresi (Cancer Stem Cell)”. He is currently the President of the Ankara Medical Association. Prof. Dr. Osman İlhan, who served at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for 50 years, began working at Özel Koru Ankara Hospital as of January 1, 2023.
