2018年5月にアムステルダムで行われたヨーロッパ内分泌外科学会の試験に合格し、ヨーロッパ外科研修認定試験（欧州医師専門家団体）受験の資格を取得しました。彼はトルコで内分泌外科のあらゆる分野（甲状腺、副甲状腺、副腎および神経内分泌腫瘍）でこの証明書を持つ5人の外科医のうちの1人です。

2018年12月に准教授の称号を取得し、彼のキャリアで、特に甲状腺癌や病気の手術、副甲状腺の手術、副腎の手術、乳房疾患のフォローアップや治療、乳癌、オンコプラスティック乳房手術といった内分泌外科の高度な手術に関心を持っています。同時に、腹腔鏡および低侵襲手術および内視鏡手技において10年以上の経験を持ち、あらゆる種類の診断および治療手技を行っています。これらの分野で2000回以上の成功した手術を行ってきました。

Dr. Yilmaz worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital for 5 years. He then served at Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital for 3 years. In these roles, he managed a wide range of surgical cases. He also served as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Medipol University, where he trained future surgeons and contributed to research.
