Prof. Dr. Kandemir was the head of the Periodontology Department at Ege University until 2019. He has made significant contributions to dental science, particularly in periodontal disease and implantology over his dynamic career.

Dr. Kandemir holds a Doctorate in Clinical Sciences from Ege University, where he has been a full professor since 1994. He has published 14 research papers and presented at various international conferences, including the İzmir Dişhekimleri Odası and ACBID International Conference.

Доктор Онур Шахин окончил стоматологический факультет Университета Хаджеттепе в 2011 году и завершил специализированную подготовку на кафедре челюстно-лицевой хирургии Университета Гази в 2016 году. С 2017 года он работает академиком на кафедре челюстно-лицевой хирургии Измирского университета Катип Челеби. В 2021 году ему было присвоено звание доцента. Кроме того, с 2017 года он продолжил обучение в докторантуре на медицинском факультете Университета Эге, на кафедре стволовых клеток. Интересы доктора Онура Шахина включают в себя передовую имплантологию, аугментацию твердых и мягких тканей атрофированных челюстей, лечение all-on-X, скуловые, крыловидные и трансназальные имплантаты, медикаментозный остеонекроз челюсти (MRONJ), а также стволовые клетки и регенеративную терапию. Он был приглашенным докладчиком на многих национальных и международных симпозиумах по имплантологии и челюстно-лицевой хирургии и провел множество практических и кадаверных курсов по имплантологии. Доктор Шахин, который выполнил первый случай с имплантатами скуловой кости, крыловидной кости и трансназальной имплантации в Турции, имеет более 100 пациентов, прошедших лечение с помощью этих имплантатов. Он опубликовал более 50 статей в национальных и международных журналах и более 100 постеров/устных докладов, представленных на национальных и международных конгрессах, связанных с его научной областью.
