Prof. Dr. Emeka Nkenke is an Austrian oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He holds both medical and dental degrees and a doctorate in theoretical medicine. He is Professor and Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He is also a consultant at Wiener Privatklinik.

He previously served as a full professor at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg and as Head of Department at Halle University. He is internationally recognized for virtual surgical planning and patient-specific implants. His expertise also includes orthognathic surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, cleft lip and palate surgery, microvascular jaw reconstruction, distraction osteogenesis, and guided dental implant surgery. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery and serves on the editorial boards of other journals.

He was born in 1977 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. After completing his primary and high school education, he completed his undergraduate education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2001. After completing his doctorate in 2007, he became Associate Professor in 2011 and Professor in 2016 in the same department.
