He graduated in Medicine at the Malaga University and specialised in Urology at the Carlos Haya Hospital in the same province.

He travelled to the United States in 2012 for a study stay at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. Specifically, at the Oncology Unit leaded by Dr Karim Touijer.

Born in 1978 in Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Ramazan Gökhan ATIŞ completed his medical degree at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He pursued his urology specialization at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital and became a certified urologist in February 2008. Following his military service at Edremit Military Hospital, he began working at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2009.

In 2011, he received training in laparoscopic and robotic urology at Heidelberg University’s Heilbronn Clinic. Between 2009 and 2014, he conducted numerous scientific studies, especially in the field of endourology, earning the title of Associate Professor in 2014.

Since 2017, he has served on the board of the Endourology Society. In 2018, he was selected to the European Association of Urology’s Young Academic Urologists (EAU-YAU) Endourology Working Group, actively serving for two years. In January 2021, he was appointed as a Professor at Istanbul Medeniyet University. Since August 1, 2022, he has continued his clinical practice, initially at Şişli Memorial Hospital and currently at Medipol Acıbadem District Hospital.

Dr. Ilter Alkan is a Professor of Urology with broad experience at leading medical centers. He has worked at Memorial Bodrum Hospital and Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Alkan has served as a urology specialist in Turkey and abroad. He completed fellowships in laparoscopic urology and endourology at Krankenhaus der Elisabethinen in Austria. Her work focuses on urologic oncology, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, and endourology. She helped launch the da Vinci robotic surgery program at Sheba. Her expertise includes kidney, bladder, and prostate cancers, as well as laser lithotripsy for stones.

She completed advanced training in robotic laparoscopic surgery and endourology at Duke University Medical Center. She is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Tel Aviv University. Dr. Nir Kleinmann, MD, directs the Endourology and Kidney Stones Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is an expert in minimally invasive urology and urologic oncology. His focus is the kidney and upper urinary tract. He was named among Israel’s Best Doctors for 2025–2026 by Forbes and ResultMed.

He is a pioneer of kidney‑sparing laser surgery. He uses a dual‑laser system with neodymium and holmium for complex tumors. His expertise includes UTUC, kidney and prostate cancer, kidney stones, and BPH.
