After graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2003 he started his PhD education in the Department of Periodontology, Institute of Health in the same university. Having completed the PhD education in 2009 he started to work as a research assistant in Ege University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Periodontology.

He became Assoc.Prof in 2015 and continued both clinical and academic research. In 2022 he became full professor and have published more than 30 studies in well-known scientific journals. He developed a connective tissue graft harvesting tool (Nizam Punch), which is being produced in Germany and two implant systems which are being used in many countries. He still keeps his academic position in Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology.

He served as a research fellow at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 1999. He is a member of the Dental Association of Thailand and the Thai Society of Prosthodontics. He also belongs to the Thai Society of Dental Implants and the Society of Operative Dentistry of Thailand.

Доктор Онур Шахин окончил стоматологический факультет Университета Хаджеттепе в 2011 году и завершил специализированную подготовку на кафедре челюстно-лицевой хирургии Университета Гази в 2016 году. С 2017 года он работает академиком на кафедре челюстно-лицевой хирургии Измирского университета Катип Челеби. В 2021 году ему было присвоено звание доцента. Кроме того, с 2017 года он продолжил обучение в докторантуре на медицинском факультете Университета Эге, на кафедре стволовых клеток. Dr. Babek Yunuszade is a general dentist with eight years of clinical experience. He practices at BY Dental Clinic in Şişli, Istanbul. He provides fixed and removable prosthetics, prosthetic rehabilitation after periodontal therapy, laminate veneer and composite restorations, endodontics, and implant surgery. Implant work includes bone-level placement, flap elevation, guided healing, and simple bone augmentation. He earned his DDS from Azerbaijan Medical University in 2016. He completed equivalency training at Kocaeli University in 2018–2019.
