Prof. Dr. Nesrin Sarıman graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (English) in 1990 and completed her specialization in “Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis” at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital. She worked at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospital between from 2004 till 2022, obtaining the titles of associate professor and professor. Her primary areas of interest include; Obstructive Lung Diseases (Asthma-Allergy, COPD), Sleep Disorders (Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome), Lung Cancer, and Smoking Cessation Treatments. She is a bronchoscopy specialist and sleep physician. She has published articles in national and international journals and has authored book chapters. She has served as a member of the Clinical Research Ethics Committee. She holds memberships in national and international associations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayfun Caliskan is a specialist in chest diseases and interventional pulmonology. His focus areas include bronchoscopy, EBUS, and the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer. He received his MD from GATA in 1999. He completed his Chest Diseases residency at GATA Haydarpaşa between 2002 and 2006. He served as a specialist and deputy chief at military hospitals. He was on the faculty at GATA and Sultan 2. Abdulhamit Han. He completed advanced training at The University of Chicago Medicine in 2015–2016. He became an Associate Professor in 2021. He has worked at Anadolu Medical Center since 2022.

Dr. Ergun Tozkoparan is a pulmonologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating lung diseases. He has a special focus on tuberculosis. He received his medical degree from GATA Military Medical School in 1989. He completed his pulmonology training at GATA, Ankara in 1996.

Dr. Tozkoparan has worked in leading hospitals in Turkey. He also served as a professor at the GATA Department of Pulmonology. He gained further experience in interventional pulmonology during a year at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center.

In 2007, Dr. Tozkoparan published research in CCLM. He showed important changes in platelet indices in patients with tuberculosis. This work helped improve how the disease is monitored and managed.

Professor Zhang Jin Nong is Director of Respiratory and Cardiovascular Medicine and a national expert in infectious diseases. He has over 40 years of clinical experience. In 2020, he was honored as a Hubei Provincial Advanced Individual for COVID-19 control.

His clinical focus includes respiratory diseases, complex internal medicine, infectious diseases, and advanced lung cancer treatment. He is skilled in fiberoptic bronchoscopy, invasive and noninvasive ventilation, management of sleep-disordered breathing, and pulmonary function testing.
